Weekend Wonders Feature (#5)

September 5, 2012 by Shatzi

You guys, this has been such an insanely crazy week! I said on Monday in my Oatmeal Smoothie post that it was going to be busy. I had a to-do list ten miles long! Monday, we took an afternoon drive to go see some waterfalls. It was beautiful!

When we got home that evening, our 6-year old went to play in the backyard with his friend. They were playing on the swing set. We heard a little scream and the next thing we knew, our little guy came walking over to us with a broken arm. And not just any broken arm! He basically broke his arm in half right at his elbow.

We rushed to the ER and they took him back to have emergency surgery to get it fixed. It was awful! So we’ve been waiting on him hand and foot ever since. Poor guy!!

So, in light of the no sleep and constant worrying, I hope you will all forgive me for not having more features! We did have a 3-way tie this week for most viewed link. So, I will share those. And next week I’ll be back to my normal features again.

This week’s most viewed links were:

My daughter broke her ankle and needed surgery last year – but she was 20. I know how rough it must me with a little one. Hope he feels better soon!

Thanks for the feature! I hope your little guy mends soon – it is so hard to see your baby hurt!

Oh this sounds like the last few weeks for us, stitches, a broken foot and one broken pair of glasses. I hope he heals super quick, hugs & blessings

    xoxo, Tanya
