Easy Teacher Appreciation Frame

April 14, 2015 by Shatzi

This is a project I made quite a while ago and it’s been sitting in my “unpublished” folder for a long time!

My amazing husband Dave is an elementary school principal, so we know first hand how amazing teachers are. I actually sent this to his school after I made it and when I visited there a couple of weeks ago, I was excited to see that it’s still sitting in the teacher’s lounge.

I really love this quote! I think sometimes we forget what a huge influence our teachers have on our kids! This is super easy to make! I wanted the background paper to be interchangeable, so I cut vinyl out and put in on the frame. You can put in on the inside or the outside, just make sure that if you want it on the inside, you’ll need to reverse the image before you cut it.

So, really all you have to do is grab a frame – this one is just a cheap black frame from Walmart. Then, take the glass out. Apply the vinyl to the glass and throw in a patterned paper in place of where the picture would go. Easy peasy! Teacher Appreciation Week is just around the corner, and this would make a perfect simple and inexpensive gift!

I love it Shatzi! A great quote to make any teacher feel loved and appreciated :) I can’t wait until my little guy gets starts this year and I can make fun Teacher Appreciation gifts too.

Thank you!! He sure is growing up! Time seems to go even faster once they start kindergarten – at least for me it has!

Great question! This is actually something that I downloaded from the Silhouette store. Here’s the link to where I got it! http://www.silhouettedesignstore.com/?page=view-shape&id=42684

I need advice on printing a person’s name in MS Word
On either vinyl or Static Cling.
    Is this possible??

My job is to cut a 4×6″ square on a Cricut Explore,
Then place the vinyl or static cling on the 4×6″ window
And then place a person’s photo on the vinyl or static cling…. Tanx
