I have a special link party this week that I’m co-hosting with Claiming Our Space, House on the Way, One Creative Mommy, Mamal Diane, Jane’s Adventures in Dinner, and 4 You With Love.

We’re all sharing something fall related on our blog, plus having a shared link party! You know what that means? Your posts will get shared on all 7 blogs! WOOT!

I’m sharing a recipe that might not seem fall related at all – Clam Dip. Stick with me for a minute. I’ll explain. First of all, let me tell you, if you love Clam Chowder, you will die for this dip! I almost always make a double batch because it goes so fast! We have a tradition in our family to make Clam Dip around the holidays starting with Thanksgiving. Clam goes on sale this time of year so it’s perfect timing! My mom made it for us growing up and I make it for my kids (when I’m not too busy hoarding it for myself – hehe!). Try it! Your life literally won’t be complete without it!

Clam Dip Recipe - Yum!! If you love Clam Chowder you have to try this!!

This is so easy to make that I didn’t even put together a tutorial.

1 package of cream cheese, softened
1-2 green onions chopped
1 can of clams (drain, but reserve the juices)
1 teaspoon of lemon juice

Combine all of the ingredients except the reserved clam juice. I usually use a mixer to combine them. After they are combined, add a little bit of clam juice at a time until it is the desired dip consistency. It tastes delicious right after it’s made, but is even yummier after sitting in the fridge overnight.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you!!! Seriously! I probably make this at least 10 times a year between Thanksgiving and New Years!

Now, on to the link party! We would love to see Fall Fun you all have to share!!

There’s more to this post! Click to keep reading.

What a creative idea. I would never have thought to put clams in a dip. Clam chowder is yummy, so why not! Can’t wait to try it! I’m visiting from OneCreativeMommy.com.
