Right now I am trying to potty train my 2-year old. There are so many tips and blog posts that say you can do it in a day. They obviously haven’t met my son. Wish me luck!
Right now I am contemplating mother’s day gift ideas. Any suggestions?
Right now I’m reading Girl Wars by Cheryl Dellasega and Charisse Nixon. In my opinion, a must read for all moms with daughters. I’ll do a book review when I’m finished.
Right now I am helping to plan a surprise birthday party for a friend. I love surprise parties!
Right now my guilty pleasure is Smash. Have you seen it? I’ve been watching on Hulu Plus while I fold laundry.
Right now I have spring fever. I’m ready to get started on my garden. I found a really cool garden planning website called Smart Gardener. I’m hoping it will help me actually grow some butternut squash this year.
Right now I’m excited about the mother/daughter date I’m going on tomorrow night.
Right now I am loving this video! Have you watched it yet? My 6-year old son and I played it over and over yesterday.
Right now I am amazed and humbled by all of the love, support and comments I’ve gotten on this brand new blog of mine. From the bottom of my heart:

Right now I am amazed at your amazing blog. ;) Cute picture of you and Bria! For Mother’s day I’m getting my mom one of those laundry balls I told you about. I totally love it.

I’ve never seen Smash, but it’s on my to do list. Good luck on the potty training. It’s a pain but such a relief in the end.
Thanks for stopping by and following me, I’m now following you back on GFC, Twitter, and Facebook :)

So, the whole potty training in a day thing. For the most part, I don’t buy it. I do think that some kids can do it but the kid has to be at the stage where they have total control and awareness over that bodily function, and the child has to really be into it. My kids both enjoyed potty training for the most part so it wasn’t much of a struggle. If you want to read yet another post on potty training you can check out my tips for naked potty training (it is a fairly comprehensive method for teaching children to be aware of when they have to pee and how to hold it til they go to the bathroom).
BTW- I’m following and subscribing back from Feed Me Friday! Thanks so much for linking up!
