Please welcome back Jessie from The Thritiness Miss! She’s one of my favorite bloggers. A lot of you probably already know her from the fun party we host together every week!
Now that summer is officially upon us barbecue season is in full swing. Everyone needs a quick and easy side dish to whip up and take to those outdoor parties. I had this recipe not long ago and I was really surprised and how yummy it was. I was then shocked when I found out it was made with regular old Kraft mac and cheese!
Here’s how to make it yourself…
Ingredients
- 1 box Kraft Macaroni and Cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese chunks
- 1/4 seasoning salt
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Directions
Boil macaroni according to package directions, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
In a small bowl mix mayo, cheese sauce, onion powder, seasoning salt, and pepper.
In a large bowl combine macaroni, eggs, cheese chunks, and mayo mixture. Mix until noodles are fully coated.
Refrigerate for an hour before serving.
Enjoy!

Do you make up the cheese sauce with milk (and butter) first, as per the instructions, or just put the dry powder into the mayo?
